The Portland Business Journal recently reported that  Technology transfer officials at Oregon Health & Science University, Portland State University, Oregon State Univerity and the University of Oregon are working together to create an online listing of all university research available for licensing at their institutions.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported that California faces a shortage of college-educated workers that could slow its economic growth, says a research institute that highlights two possible fixes  --  encouraging more residents to finish college while letting employers import more brainpower from abroad.
